I want every human being to not only understand, but embody their birth right of sovereignty. Yes, I value the magnificence of interdependence. But before we can surf the ocean, we need to learn how to read the waves.

Not only are we taught to depend on cognitive analysis as a source of truth and guidance.

We’re not given a damn second of education around emotional regulation, breath or grounding in school.

Without knowing your body is a safe place to reside in, how can we hear the intelligence it’s trying to speak through sense and feeling?

No wonder we’re confused and scared — we’ve forgotten how to balance our very being through breath and presence. We’ve forgotten the simplicity of coming home to ourselves.

If you do anything today, let it be taking a moment to place your feet on the ground and relax the belly.

Breathe as gentle as gentle can be until you can barely feel your breath moving through you.

Then let your body move how it wants to move. Sit back and listen, feel and notice what you feel and allow it to be.

Rebuilding our connection with what matters as a macrocosm begins by invigorating the vitality within our microcosms.

what three weeks of ⠀
little sleep and ⠀
three generations of ⠀
grief moving through ⠀
an amber looks like. ⠀
Very long, gentle and⠀
slow exhales. ⠀
Hands on body when ⠀
mind tells very scary ⠀
stories that keep me⠀
awake and send me ⠀
spinning. ⠀
And a little calmer⠀
when the spinning ⠀
calls for a pause. ⠀
And the pause leads ⠀
to a vision, ⠀
and vision leads me⠀
to know deep in⠀
my bones how bored ⠀
I am with putting ⠀
the universe into words ⠀
on a screen. ⠀
I’m looking for connection ⠀
in ways with you all ⠀
that don’t require rules, ⠀
algorithms and trends. ⠀
I’m craving the carving of ⠀
art I touch with my eyes ⠀
(not on a screen)⠀
taste with my touch ⠀
and and feel with my heart. ⠀
I wonder I wonder, ⠀
what rumbles down under,⠀
the sick to my stomach ⠀
sense I have when holding ⠀
a phone in my hand. ⠀
A mix of deep appreciation⠀
for a vast soup of social ⠀
threads with a yearning ⠀
to feel, teach, *assist*, ⠀
and traverse side by side. ⠀
I think a close knit ⠀
crew of women rubbing shoulders ⠀
who feel that generating wealth ⠀
and touching millions feels ⠀
like a rather fond dream ⠀
and very much alive in their heart. ⠀
A shared vision with a big mission. ⠀
Easy tiny steps to guarantee ⠀
space for pleasure. ⠀
Perhaps that’s what’s next. ⠀
I believe a good vino ⠀
would be a requisite alongside⠀
fireplaces, large butchers paper ⠀
mapping dreams and dusting ⠀
boots to tread with ancient wisdom. ⠀
And dirty jokes coded with ⠀
plans of the kind of revolution⠀
where fierce love touches ⠀
each word that leaves our lips⠀
and silence is only ever a dramatic ⠀
pause to emphasise a point. ⠀
That feels good. Who’s in?⠀

Hello loves. I wrote on my story and I had quite a few of you ask what book it was from. It was just a little snippet from my journal yesterday. It seems to be easing off now, but it’s true that each of us is grieving in some way. Whether it’s an old way of being, a relationship, a city, a construct you once relied on — grief is moving through our veins doing its thing. Sending you buckets of love. Final thing — THANK YOU. The amount of love and support I received after sharing my Grammy passed, has been enormous and quite powerful. I’m so grateful for every bit of thought and presence that was sent my way. I haven’t replied to messages and comments as it’s a lot of screen time I’m not up for, please know it’s received and I appreciate every drop of love.

Even when I was an angry teen playing Korn in my room while you held bible study in the lounge, you loved me. ⠀

When I rocked up on your doorstep, determined and a little defeated, you took me in and taught me compassion. You hugged me gently while I raged. I didn’t realise that level of unconditional love existed in this world.⠀
⠀
I sucked at any kind of sewing or craft you ever so patiently attempted to teach me and even though I couldn’t keep my questions about evolution to myself at Sunday school — you still adored me. ⠀

You showed me what home *felt* like in my heart. It shaped an unshakeable trust in me that guides me to this very day. ⠀
⠀
You taught me a type of heaven existed on earth. I know your journey to your own was a welcome one and I’m so grateful you’ve landed there, now.

These last days by your side were precious. ⠀
I know you’re stoked that I read more of the bible in the last 72 hours than in my entire schooling years. I was honoured to.

Rumour has it that some guy called Valentine was decapitated a few hundred odd years ago for marrying soldiers behind the back of the guy in charge of the country. Sounds dark, sweet and terrible. Kind of like your driving skills across an island of sand in rising tides in the pitch black, my gorgeous man.

Or the confusing censorship and collective gaslighting going down. Oops — that took a turn. It was a shock arriving off an island back on the webs to learn there was a significant amount of censorship online recently (more so than previously obvious). Socials don’t really give the same level of juice like they used to. Things like that make it less and less appealing and more part of a bigger healing unfolding. Maybe the gram will fall in a heap and we will be forced to look at the depths of ourselves and the distortions that are breaking down and cracking apart. It’s a weird and wonderful time. The painstaking part is — many who stand more stubborn than rocks in their righteousness, cannot see the fight they’re fighting is one our generations to come will feel more than most anyone of all. As always it’s that journey in, respecting and honouring self. Owning your truth in unwavering self respect without judging another or projecting pain is a tidy and sovereign skill all in itself. I’ll be scooting to telegram and clubhouse when I feel up to poking my head into another platform. For now — regardless of day and current suspected agendas in the air, I wish everyone mucho love.

I’ve got a story. ⠀
It’s not of brokenness or pain. ⠀
It’s not of success or liberation. ⠀
It’s ordinary in every way. ⠀
⠀
But its applicable to anyone interested in responding to life with impeccable embrace and flow — no matter what. If that tickles your fancy, read on. ⠀
⠀
This story Is about how I did the same fucking receive — pass, drill with a soccer ball (football — I once played state rep. and premier league) thousands of times in every kind of environment. So that when it mattered most it was as easy as breathing. ⠀
⠀
It was the number one skill that without, my role as last defence before keeper, would be compromised. It was what my coach call the master drill. ⠀
⠀
I practiced it endlessly.⠀
I did it again and again and again. ⠀
In torrential rain. ⠀
In the face of male opponents double my size and quadruple my strength. ⠀
Like a ritual, I practiced. ⠀
When I was tired. ⠀
When I was hungry. ⠀
When I was angry. ⠀
When I was scared. ⠀
When I was exhausted. ⠀
When I was full of doubt. ⠀
When I was distracted. ⠀
When I loved it. ⠀
When I enjoyed it. ⠀
When I wanted to. ⠀
When I fucking hated it. ⠀
When I didn’t want to. ⠀
When I wanted to stop. ⠀
Especially then. ⠀
And most of all — when I was arrogant enough to tell myself I’d mastered it. ⠀
So that when I was on the field. ⠀
And we were 1-0 up and 3 minutes off the whistle. ⠀
And my right back tackled and passed across the goal. ⠀
And the striker was raging down the flank about to intercept. ⠀
I didn’t fuck it up. ⠀
Instead of contracting in the face of fear, pressure or intensity — I could let go completely and trust my practice to take over. ⠀
⠀
I liken this to the teaching I most repeat — saying yes to life — or — presence — embrace — surrender. ⠀
⠀
I teach it differently to how you may of heard. ⠀
I’m a yes to all of what’s in front of us — a yes to inspiration — a yes to flow. Anything that’s not a YES to this is a default no and helps us open more or define boundaries with ease. ⠀

Life’s the ceremony. ⠀
